Gherkin is a shy but curious little kitten who is still learning to trust the world around him. While he may be hesitant with people at first, his love for treats and play helps him come out of his shell. He enjoys interactive toys and is slowly becoming more engaged, especially when feathers or wand toys are involved. Though he is still building confidence around humans, Gherkin is a brave explorer when no one is watching. He loves to sneak around and investigate his surroundings, often climbing to high perches where he can keep an eye on everything. Birdwatching is one of his favorite pastimes, and he will happily sit by a window, watching the world go by. Gherkin absolutely adores other cats and finds comfort in their company. He loves to cuddle and play with his siblings, so he would thrive in a home with another friendly feline to help him feel secure. While he is still unsure about human touch, he has recently started accepting short pats from his foster carer, showing that with time and patience, he has the potential to grow into a more affectionate companion. Gherkin is looking for a calm and understanding home where he can continue to build his confidence at his own pace. With gentle encouragement and the right feline friend by his side, he will blossom into a wonderful companion, bringing quiet charm and playful curiosity to his new family.
